description: 'Look up current prices for the ChatGPT and Claude subscriptions the user names, and investigate local Codex and Claude Code usage, plan limits and AI spending. Use the bundled deterministic collector to produce JSON, and keep invoices, included usage, credits and API price estimates separate. Use when the user asks "hvad koster mit AI-abonnement" / "what does my AI subscription cost", "mit AI-forbrug" / "my AI usage", or about Claude Code or Codex limits. Do not use for ordinary time tracking in the shared task logger.'

teaser: 'Your AI subscription has a monthly price, but do you know what you actually use? The invoice, the included usage and the credits are three different numbers, and most people blur them together. This skill looks up current plan prices and reads your local Codex and Claude Code logs. The click: it keeps the bill and the token estimate apart.'

Respond in Danish unless the user writes in another language.

For questions about subscription prices: follow [subscription price lookup](references/subscriptions.md). Look up prices on official pages; do not use the token price list as the subscription price. A price lookup alone does not require scanning local conversation logs.

For analysis of local usage: run `scripts/ai-usage.sh` relative to this skill folder. It requires Python 3.9+ and uses no external packages. Use an absolute path in shell calls.

Example: `scripts/ai-usage.sh --month 2026-08 --live --output /absolut/sti/rapport.json`.

- Choose the user's month. If it is unknown, use the most recently completed month and state the choice. The default time zone is Europe/Copenhagen; change it with `--timezone` if needed.
- An offline run reads local JSONL files. `--live` reads account status and Codex limits through the installed clients. It starts no model tasks. It does not open billing portals or buy/redeem credits.
- Present `usage.estimated_api_equivalent.priced_subset_amount` as a **token-based API price scenario** with the price date and the number of unpriced requests. It is neither an invoice, a subscription price nor an authoritative historical calculation.
- `null` means unknown. `coverage.complete` is false for local logs. Missing data or zero observed tokens does not prove zero usage.
- The account snapshot applies now. Do not use it as evidence of account, subscription or payment method on older log entries. The server's daily token counts and local tokens overlap and must never be added together.
- Invoice lines can be imported with `--evidence`. See the [JSON contract](references/schema.md). Never invent entries, subscription amounts, exchange rates or historical account relationships. Organisation amounts do not automatically become the user's expense.
- Credits purchased, credits used and current balance are different measures. Free limit resets are also not purchased dollar credits. A balance of zero says nothing about earlier purchases.
- Claude limits are fetched via `/usage` or an existing statusline snapshot: `--claude-snapshot FILE`. The bundled `--capture-claude-statusline FILE` can save selected fields from documented statusline input. Do not replace an existing statusline without preserving its function.
- For unknown models: read the official price reference and update a copy of `references/prices.json`; use `--prices`. Do not guess prices from similar model names. Prices above 272,000 input tokens are conservatively omitted for the bundled Codex models. Unknown cache TTL is also omitted.
- When the question concerns an employer, a determination requires the correct account, period and invoice/billing export. Read the [research](references/research.md) for the relevant administration sources. This version has no automatic admin API importer.

Summarise in Danish with a short table per product, data coverage and the next documentation needed. Use the collector's results; do not add the existing `~/.ai-usage` log on top. It records tasks/time and any self-reported tokens and may overlap.
